Strategic entry into Europe’s largest MedTech market strengthens Medisolve’s pan-European platform
Milan/Frankfurt – 25 August 2026– Medisolve, the European leader in integrated management and maintenance services for biomedical equipment, today announced the acquisition of a majority stake in WISAG Medizintechnischer Service GmbH (WMT), the biomedical equipment maintenance division of Germany’s Wisag Group, one of the leading service providers for real estate, industry and airports.
With over €180 million in revenue, more than 1,000 employees, and operations in Italy and Spain, Medisolve — backed by HIG Capital — now extends its footprint into Germany, the largest MedTech market in Europe. WISAG Medizintechnischer Service will serve as Medisolve’s integrated services platform to develop its presence in the German market, leveraging the Group’s technical and operational expertise to support further growth.
The transaction underscores Medisolve’s strategy of combining organic growth with selective acquisitions to consolidate the highly fragmented European market for biomedical equipment services.
Angelo Maresca, CEO of Medisolve, commented:
“We are very pleased to welcome WISAG Medizintechnischer Service into the Medisolve Group. Germany is a strategic priority for us, and WISAG Medizintechnischer Service provides the ideal foundation to build a meaningful presence in this market.
