Medisolve, established as a European Healthcare Services player with €170 million in revenues, expands its presence in Europe with the acquisition of CEDYT in Spain
One thousand employees, 8,000 square meters of laboratories, more than 150 hospitals served, over one million technical interventions per year across Italy and Spain, and revenues exceeding €180 million: these are the figures of Medisolve, the company controlled by HIG Capital that brings together highly specialized businesses delivering technical solutions for the healthcare sector – forming a fully integrated healthcare services platform.
The Group operates through eight locations across Europe: Milan, Rome, Madrid, Lisbon, Valencia, Cinisello Balsamo, Salerno, and Trieste. The Group companies – Polygon, Sincronis, HCE, Meditech, and Logic – are among the most established players at European level in integrated healthcare maintenance services.
The newly formed European leader in biomedical equipment maintenance has further strengthened its position by acquiring a majority stake in CEDYT S.A. (www.cedyt.com), a Zaragoza-based company active in the repair and distribution of diagnostic imaging equipment in Spain. The acquisition of CEDYT is part of Medisolve’s development plan aimed at becoming an increasingly strategic player in clinical engineering and diagnostic imaging.
Through Polygon and HCE, Medisolve currently provides integrated maintenance services to more than 3,600 diagnostic imaging devices in Italy and Spain. With the acquisition of CEDYT, Medisolve will further strengthen its service offering in the Spanish market. Angelo Maresca, CEO of Medisolve, commented: “I am very pleased to welcome Roberto Sanjuan and the entire CEDYT team to our Group. Diagnostic Imaging is one of the key verticals in which Medisolve intends to invest. CEDYT is a leading player in the Spanish market: its technical expertise, people, reputation, and customer base are unique assets on which we aim to build.”
Roberto Sanjuan, CEO of CEDYT, added: “We are excited to join the Medisolve Group. We share Medisolve’s strategic vision and ambitions, and we believe that by joining forces we can become a benchmark in diagnostic imaging repair in Spain.”
