Sincronis Acquires Logic S.r.l. and Expands Its Service Portfolio

Milan, September 1, 2025 – Sincronis S.r.l., part of the Polygon Group, is a European leader in specialized biomedical maintenance and strengthens its position by acquiring Logic S.r.l. (www.logic-medical.com), a Trieste-based company active in the repair of ultrasound probes and other shippable devices, as well as a reseller of accessories and spare parts for biomedical equipment. The acquisition of Logic S.r.l. is part of Polygon Group’s development strategy (controlled by HIG Capital), a European frontrunner in integrated management and maintenance of biomedical equipment, with over €160 million in revenue and 800 employees, aiming to become an increasingly strategic partner for clinical engineering and the medical device industry through the expansion of its range of products and services.

With Logic’s contribution, Sincronis significantly broadens its service offering, gaining technical expertise in ultrasound probe repairs and specialized logistics for spare parts and accessories for biomedical equipment, thereby enhancing the overall quality of its portfolio.

Angelo Maresca, CEO of Polygon Group, comments: “I am very pleased to welcome Logic to our group. With Logic, Polygon Group’s expertise expands with another important piece. Logic, an Italian excellence and the first European company to offer ultrasound probe repair in 2006, will enable Sincronis to complete its service portfolio for shippable medical devices, such as rigid and flexible endoscopes, and now also ultrasound probes and endoscopic cameras, supporting our expansion plans both nationally and across Europe.”

“We are delighted to welcome the entire Logic team, and in particular Stefano Polvi, Alice Palliotto, and Alessio Guida, with whom we share entrepreneurial spirit, market approach, and commercial ethics,” say Enrico Tegon and Antonio Meroni, members of Sincronis’ Board of Directors.

This acquisition also aims to maintain a strong connection with the local area, confirms Stefano Polvi, CEO of Logic: “We intend to continue investing in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and specifically in Trieste, a city strongly focused on innovation thanks to its numerous high-level scientific institutions and ITS programs. It is no coincidence that Trieste has 37 researchers per 1,000 inhabitants, compared to the national average of just 5. This unique characteristic is a fundamental asset for us to continue having access to highly specialized personnel
